First, take 2 cups of pasta (about 200 grams) and around 6-7 cups of water in a pot. Add ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp oil. When the water heats up, add the pasta and boil it for 8-10 minutes. Once boiled, check if the pasta is soft. Once it’s cooked, drain it and rinse it with cold water so the pasta doesn’t stick together. Now, your pasta is ready.

Step Two

For the recipe, take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil. Once the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of chopped garlic and sauté it. When the garlic is fragrant, add chopped onions (in squares) and sauté them for about 2 minutes, until they soften without changing color. Then add 1 small carrot, 1 capsicum, and 1 cup of corn. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Fry the vegetables on low flame until they are cooked, then turn off the flame.

Step Three

Next, in the same pan, add 4 tsp of butter. Let it melt, then add 4 tsp of flour (maida). Mix it on low flame, stirring until the butter and flour combine without changing the color (keep it light). Fry for about 4 minutes, then gradually add 2 cups of milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Let it cook for 4 minutes so the flour dissolves properly and the sauce thickens.

Final Step

Now, add 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of crushed red chili, and 1 tsp of mixed herbs. Stir everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the cooked vegetables and pasta that we prepared earlier. Stir on low flame for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add 1 cup of cheese and keep stirring until it melts completely. Once melted, turn off the flame.
